🏠 PEACHLAND — RESIDENTS CAN RETURN HOME AT 6:00 PM TODAY

Peachland residents impacted by the Bald Range Wildfire evacuation will be able to return home beginning at 6:00 PM today, Friday, August 14.

Please avoid lining up or arriving before 6:00 PM. Giving emergency crews the time and space they need will help make the return home as safe and orderly as possible.

And an important reminder: this fire is not over.

Peachland remains on Evacuation Alert, which means we all still need to be prepared to leave again if conditions change. Keep your essentials packed, stay aware of changing conditions, and continue monitoring official emergency updates.

Tonight is a huge relief for many families, but we are not in the clear yet.

To everyone returning tonight — welcome home, Peachland. ❤️🏡

Emergency Support Services (ESS) remains open until further notice at the Westbank Lions Community Centre at 2466 Main Street in West Kelowna to help support evacuees with access to accommodation, food, clothing, and cultural services.

Other options for evacuee support:

➡️Westbank First Nation's Sensisyusten House of Learning
➡️Secure RV and trailer parking available at Mount Boucherie Secondary School

How can I volunteer?
ESS is not accepting public volunteers at this time.

Where can I bring donations?
Please do not bring donations to reception centres. Instead, connect with organizations such as the Canadian Red Cross, Salvation Army, Samaritan's Purse, or other local charities to learn how and where to donate.
