It’s said that when someone shares their food, they’re really sharing their heart - and after a long day at the hospital, that can mean everything.

On February 25th, our team from Coldwell Banker Horizon Realty headed to JoeAnna’s House to share a meal with their guests, and it was such a meaningful evening. We put together a full Mediterranean feast- Chicken and Beef souvlaki, Greek potatoes, Greek salad, Orzo pasta, warm pita, spanakopita… and of course plenty of tzatziki and hummus. We couldn’t forget dessert either- cheesecake with berry compote and whipped cream, plus chocolate cake to finish it all off.

JoeAnna’s House provides accommodations for out-of-town families with loved ones receiving care at KGH, offering them a safe and comfortable place to call home when they need it most.

Being able to prepare and serve a home-cooked meal is one small way to help ease the stress they’re carrying and offset some of the added costs that come with being away from home.

A warm meal after a long hospital day is more than just food - it’s comfort, care, and community. It truly reminds us that we are Better Together.
