Father’s Day carries a different weight when the person you’d want to call is no longer here.
Today, I’m thinking of my dad and of everything he gave without needing recognition, of the lessons that didn’t always come in words, and of the steady presence that shaped more than I understood at the time. There’s a quiet kind of gratitude that comes with loss, where memories become both comfort and conversation.
Happy Father’s Day, Dad. You’re still part of everything I am.
