Kimberley September Market Update 📊

Here's a quick look at what happened in the local real estate market last month, and what it could mean if you're thinking about buying or selling this year.

• 25 new listings came to market in September, the same number as last September. New listing activity remained steady year over year.

• 6 homes sold, 57% fewer than last September. Sales activity was noticeably quieter this month, with fewer properties changing hands than a year ago.

• Inventory increased to 66 active listings, 10% fewer than last September. Buyers have more options than they did in August, but overall inventory remains below last year's levels.

• Homes sold in an average of 44 days, which is 50% faster than last September. Even with fewer sales, the properties that did sell moved considerably quicker than they did a year ago.

• Sellers received an average of 98% of list price, up 5.4% from last year. Well-priced homes continue to perform well, with sellers achieving a stronger percentage of their asking price.

Overall, September was another quieter month for sales, but there are some encouraging signs in the numbers. Homes that did sell moved significantly faster than they did this time last year, and sellers achieved a higher percentage of their asking price. With inventory still below last year's levels, pricing and presentation continue to be important factors in the market.
