Thinking of buying a fixer-upper? 🛠️✨

There are so many reasons people fall in love with homes that need a little (or a lot of) work. Maybe it’s the charm of an older property you can’t resist, the opportunity to get into the market at a lower price point, or the chance to truly make a space your own without starting from scratch.

Whatever your reason—one thing is guaranteed: it’s always an adventure… and definitely full of surprises 😅
If my husband had his way, we’d be in a brand new build. But because I’ve always loved historic homes (and all the character that comes with them), we’re living in a log home built in 1893 🏡

And let me tell you… every project we take on keeps things interesting. Tearing down lath and plaster? 0/10, do NOT recommend 😂 But every now and then, you uncover something unexpected hidden in the walls—which makes it all worth it.
That’s the reality of a fixer-upper: messy, unpredictable, but incredibly rewarding.
