For waterfront buyers, the boathouse has become almost as considered as the home itself.

I hopped in my boat at the Gananoque Municipal Marina, cruised over to Kingston for lunch at Woodenheads Gourmet Pizza, and enjoyed every minute of the ride. 🛥️ It’s a reminder that here, the journey is just as enjoyable as the destination.

One of the things I love most about living in Kingston is how easy it is to get out and explore. Ottawa is close enough for a day trip, but every visit still feels like a getaway.

I recently spent the day in our nation’s capital, enjoying lunch at Emilie’s Terrace inside the Château Laurier, with panoramic views over Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal, the Ottawa River and Quebec. Afterward, I toured around the ByWard Market, taking in the history, architecture and energy of the city.

Kingston is so well positioned for exploring more of Ontario, with incredible destinations, communities and experiences all within easy reach.
