This house is the quiet kid.

The one who sits unassumingly so in the back of the class, blending into the sea of “pick me’s”, always underestimated by their teachers. Turning down invites to the cool kid parties because behind the scenes they were too busy putting in the work— installing the steel roof, updating the plumbing and electrical, adding spray foam insulation, popping in new windows and a/c. . . this was no last minute throw down.

Methodically planning their debut until the timing was just right and that sign could go up on the lawn announcing to all the others just how capable they were all along.

And now is the time to make this kid known.
