Just below is the Regional update for what 2024 was like for Waterloo Region Real Estate. Not one for the record books... but solidly trending to a more positive place for Sellers and Buyers for 2025. Interest rates are falling, mortgage rules are relaxing and making payments more affordable for first time buyers, and with a general increase in sales it allows for more transactions to take place. Upgreaders and Dowsizers can have more confidence that they will sell their current properties and be able to buy their targets.
Cottage and recreational properties in Muskoka Parry S ound area are lagging behind in the rebound that is starting in Southern Ontario. Great opportunity for early buyers to snag a deal if you are looking for a cottage or country proprerty.
