A lot of investors judge a BRRRR by one question:
“Did I get ALL of my money back?”

I think that’s the wrong way to look at it...

Obviously, a full cash-out refinance is the home run. But leaving 10% or 20% of your original capital in a strong property doesn’t suddenly make the investment a failure.

What matters is whether the deal still makes sense based on the equity, cash flow, financing and long-term value of the asset.

Sometimes a good deal is still a good deal, even if it wasn’t a perfect BRRRR.
