From our family to yours: Happy Thanksgiving!
Kevin and I have been grateful for so many wins this year.
👦🏻 It started off with challenges as our little one struggled with his health. We’re so excited to share he’s happy, healthy, and thriving 💕
👩🏼‍🎓 I defended my PhD!
🥳🍾 We finally had a big family reunion at the lodge!
🌞 We had a blast at our seasonal spot in Lac du Bonnet and really enjoyed feeling like a part of the community
🚤 Leaning the Winnipeg River System with our new boat was amazing - can’t wait for next year!
🤓 I started my new position as a postdoc fellow
🏡 And perhaps most importantly, Lazy Days Lodge had our busiest and most successful year yet! We are so grateful for all the bookings, the repeat bookings, the inquiries, the positive reviews and and the love 💕 🥲🥹

Rental Cabin | Manitoba is getting an upgrade today! We’re installing a water tank for our guests as our current source of water has been inconsistent.
Perhaps a lesson most of you have learned: if it is too good to be true, it probably is. You’re better off to hire the real professionals and let the real men/women do the things. If we would have followed our own advice we would have avoided a lot of headaches!
But we are very pleased with Grewinski Trucking for doing a fabulous job - and are impressed they came in on a Sunday so our guests checking in will not be affected. How cool is that?
✨ ALSO! We are having our busiest year yet! Only Thanksgiving weekend and a couple weekends in November are available before Christmas! 🎅🏽

So grateful to have received this beauty as a gift from a dear friend. She fits right in with the fish my grandma and brother caught. I named her Myrtle.

Have you served up a victory lately!? Have something to celebrate? Please be our guest, have a celebratory drink while enjoying our expansive yard - and then sleep like a baby in one of our many bedrooms with luxurious linens and high quality bedding. And in the morning? Perhaps a delicious waffle to top off the victorious celebration… just giving you ideas. How you celebrate is up to you! Cheers!

Last month we had the opportunity to celebrate our family at the lodge. We did all the wonderful things guests get to do - played yard games, card games, had pool tournaments, delicious food, tons of laughs and made celebratory memories. We even celebrated my PhD completion during the festivities. The lodge has provided us so much joy, and we look forward to many more years of making memories.
