Years in the making. Today, we cut the ribbon.

This morning, we officially opened the Beacon Hill Trail, Summit Trail, and Beacon Park at The Summit at Lakestone — and we couldn't have asked for a better group of people to share it with.

Lake Country's trail network just got bigger. These trails climb from the wetland loop at the base all the way up to Beacon Park, the highest point in the community, with panoramic views across Okanagan Lake and the valley that simply don't exist anywhere else in the Okanagan Valley.

We were joined by Mayor Ireland, our Lakestone community, the MTBCO crew, and a few very good dogs — and together, we took the first steps on trails that will be walked, hiked, and biked for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who came out today, rain and all. This one was a long time coming — and worth every step.
