Well… May 1 — here we are again 🔥

There’s just something about this day.

The start of another season. The return to places that feel a little more like home with every year that passes.

I’m truly grateful to be part of an industry that gets to create that feeling for so many families.

Wishing all my colleagues at Summerhill Resorts a fantastic opening day. From the operations and maintenance teams who have been working behind the scenes to bring each resort back to life, to our head office team keeping everything aligned, and the sales team helping new families take that first step — it takes all of us.

And to the families already part of our Summerhill community, spanning 19 resorts — welcome back.

The bikes are coming out. The docks are going in. The sound of kids riding around, screen doors opening and closing, and evenings by the fire… it all starts again today.

That’s what this is really about.

A big shoutout as well to our friends across the industry — you’re all part of what makes this space so special.

We’re starting the day at a 10.

Two handovers this morning in Kawartha Lakes, and another this afternoon in Prince Edward County.

And over the next few weeks, we’ll see many more families get the keys and start their own version of this story.
