Summer is still in full swing, and Versant is the perfect starting point for so many activities in the Burke Mountain area. Use our list as your guide for maximizing the rest of the season!
- Looking for an easy, scenic walk? Check out DeBoville Slough at the foot of Burke Mountain - the perfect spot for morning walks, casual bike rides, and birdwatching along the marshlands.
- Town Centre Park in Coquitlam is a local hub for all the summer activities you could ask for. In August, they're hosting a Summer Nights Farmer's Market, Water Lantern Festival, Kimchi & K-Food Destival, and free outdoor concerts.
- Check out Minnekhada Regional Park for your all-in-one stop to experience the great outdoors. Whether you're hiking, cycling, having a picnic, or looking to spot wildlife, this is the perfect spot for your summer staycation.
- Little ones need to get their energy out? Stop by Victoria Park - minutes away from Versant - for a neighbourhood picnic, children's play area, and covered seating areas.
- Need a shopping day? Stop by Coquitlam Centre, which features over 200 stores and diverse dining spots. Coquitlam Centre is 10 minutes from Versant by Lougheed Highway, perfect for the day when you're not in the mood for a hike!
