FEBRUARY MARKET STATS ARE OUT!

Home sales in the Fraser Valley posted a second consecutive bump in February as new listings continued to rise and trend slightly above the 10-year seasonal average.

Here’s a little breakdown:

- February sales are down 21% from the 10-year average.
- There were 26% more homes listed than the year before.
- The benchmark price for a single-family detached home was $1,485,600

The Fraser Valley real estate market showed signs of recovery in January as home sales rose after six consecutive months of decline, and new listings more than doubled.

Here’s a little breakdown:

- January sales were 12% higher than last month
- There were 18% more homes listed than the previous year.
