It’s very common for under-mounted sinks to be installed without any mechanical fasteners. Simply hanging them below the counter with only caulking to support something of water and dishes is a recipe for disaster. The question I have is whose job is it? The plumbers or the countertop installers?

As another fantastic year of home inspecting comes to an end. I’ve been reflecting over the year, and am so thankful for what this year has brought and all the great people I’ve had the pleasure of working with.
The official numbers aren’t in yet. But we’ve likely tripled the number of homes inspected vs last year. Very grateful for all the realtors, clients, other home inspectors that make this industry what it is.
