Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Sept 30).
We pause to remember the children who were taken from their families and communities, the survivors, and those whose stories were never heard.

We recognize the deep harm caused by residential schools, forced assimilation, and ongoing systemic injustices. Today is not a day of celebration, but a day of reflection, education, and commitment to doing better.

We encourage you to take this day to listen, read, learn, and reflect. Resources like Orange Shirt Day, the legacy of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, and the stories of survivors offer powerful lessons for all of us.

Being a Condo Manager Isn’t Easy

Being a condo manager comes with a unique set of challenges that are often misunderstood. From long hours and demanding workloads to a serious lack of work-life balance and compensation that doesn’t reflect the pressure, the job can take a toll. On top of that, harassment and verbal abuse are far too common — and unfortunately, many people don't fully understand the scope or complexity of our role.

One of the hardest parts? Not taking things personally. But it’s essential. Staying grounded, positive, and focused on what we can control is key to surviving — and thriving — in this industry.

That’s why we’re always looking for tools to help us decompress, recharge, and reset. One of our favourites: Let That Sh*t Go — a no-nonsense, refreshingly honest book that helps you release stress and keep perspective.

To all our fellow property managers out there: you’re not alone. Take care of yourselves first, and give this book a read — you won’t regret it. 💪📚
