I am proud to announce the 2025 Turkey Shootout! I will be hosting this 4 person scramble tournament at on Saturday, October 11th with a shotgun start at 9am. I am also excited to announce that this year’s tournament will be held in support of and all of the amazing work that they do.
I have played golf on Thanksgiving weekend with my friends and family for 15 years. It started when I was invited by a family friend to join a tournament he started with his family when they were kids.
7 years ago I took up the mantle and started the Turkey Shootout. It has grown from 4 groups to a full field in that time, a true Thanksgiving tradition for friends and family.
This year, the event will be a little different (and a little bigger) as I am opening the invitation to any golfer that is up for a good time, for a good cause. The London Health Sciences Foundation was an important cause that my mom fully and strongly supported and I hope to make her proud by carrying that on in her name.
Aside from the expanded field, there are plenty of other changes and exciting additions for 2025. Sponsored by Vandersluis Real Estate, your entry will include bbq and drink tickets, prizes, giveaways, raffles and contests, as well as interactive hole sponsors. I mean it when I say it’s going to be bigger than ever.
