White Valley Parks, Recreation & Culture White Valley Parks, Recreation and Culture facilities include: White Valley Community Centre, Lumby Pool and Pat Duke Arena.

White Valley Parks Recreation and Culture is governed by the Regional District of the North Okanagan (RDNO) through the White Valley Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee (WVPRCAC). The Village of Lumby provides all parks, arena and aquatic service under contract to the RDNO. The RDNO operates the White Valley Community Centre with the support of the Lumby Chamber of Commerce. These pa

rks and facilities provide a variety of quality recreational opportunities to Lumby and Area residents.

Registration is open for a small basketball program (two groups of up to 22 athletes). This 4-week program returns July 15 and will be on Wednesdays for 1-hour each age group: 8-10yrs @ 6pm and 11-13yrs @ 7pm.

The Atmovac Diablo 12 is a commercial-grade chamber vacuum sealer designed for foodservice, catering, and serious culinary use to extend food shelf life and facilitate sous-vide cooking.

Book the kitchen with a few of your friends and process some shared meals together for a whole day (8hrs) for less than $125. Commercial or non-local users cost is less than $185.

WVCC's kitchen amenities include a large refrigerator, commercial electric range, commercial oven, coffee urns, stainless steel prep tables configurable to your workflow and of course, the Diablo 12 vacuum sealer (just buy your bags). Bring your favourite tools (knives etc).
