But what does this mean?

Grasses, dry branches will easily ignite. Spread to adjacent fuels would be slow. Control of fire may be difficult. Take normal precautions.

No Daytime Burning between 10am and 6pm!

The fire must be monitored at all times by an adult. The adult must have the means to put out the fire immediately if requested and cooled to touch.

Evening campfires, singing songs and a few marshmallows and adult beverages are encouraged. 🙂

But what does this mean?

Fires for cooking will be allowed in the evening only. Most forest fuels will ignite easily and spread rapidly. Control would be difficult.

NO BRUSH BURNING. NO DAYTIME BURNING!!

Evening fires only for cooking, warmth and socializing. The fire must be monitored at all times by an adult. The adult must have the means to put out the fire immediately if requested and cooled to touch.

The floating mat was pushed out into the lake this weekend and within 5 mins we had our first guest try it out. :)
