Some weeks have a way of reminding me just how lucky I am to do what I do. ❤️

Every client brings a different story, a different journey, and a new chapter — and I never take for granted being trusted to be part of it.

🏡 Another week of a little bit of everything!

Inspections, time on the road, time with clients, deals firming up, and some extra-special closings this week. 🔑✨ Never a dull moment!

Behind every showing, signature and set of keys is a story, and getting to share in these moments and memories with my clients is what makes the busy days so worthwhile.

Here’s to new beginnings, happy tears, keys in hand and the next chapter ahead. ❤️🏡

🍂 YOURAGENTANDREA’S FALL HOME CHECKLIST — WEEK 3! 🏡

We’ve tackled the outside, we’ve gotten cozy inside, and now it’s time for something we Nova Scotians know just a little bit about… storm season! 🌧️💨😂

A little preparation before the wind and rain arrive can make a big difference—and save us from that last-minute scramble when everyone else is looking for batteries and generator fuel too!

🌧️ WEEK 3 — STORM READY

A few things to check off this week:

⚡ Test your generator, have fuel on hand & make sure it’s ready to go
🌧️ Check sump pumps, downspouts & drainage around your home
🌳 Trim weak or overhanging branches
🔦 Stock flashlights, batteries & a few basic emergency supplies
🪑 Secure outdoor furniture and anything that could blow away
🏠 Check your roof, windows, doors & basement for potential leaks
📋 Take a quick look at your home insurance coverage and keep an inventory of valuables

Nothing here needs to be complicated. The goal is simply to get a few things taken care of before Environment Canada starts showing us one of those weather maps none of us wants to see! 😂🌀

Well, we certainly didn’t ease into this week! 😂

Inspections, showings, a new listing, an offer sent, offers accepted, water tests, SOLD 🎉 …and about 47 other things in between that didn’t make the list!

My mobile office has definitely been earning its keep — lots of kilometres, lots of calls, lots of moving pieces and, most importantly, lots happening for my clients! ❤️

And somehow…it’s only Wednesday! 😅🏡

🍂 YOUR AGENT ANDREA’S FALL HOME CHECKLIST — WEEK 2! 🏡

Last week we tackled the outside, and this week we’re moving inside and getting cozy! 🔥❤️

We all know how quickly a beautiful Nova Scotia fall day can turn into a “should we turn the heat on?” kind of evening. 😂 So before the colder weather settles in, now is a great time to give the things that keep our homes warm and comfortable a little attention.

🔥 WEEK 2 — GET COZY | HEATING & HOME COMFORT

A few things to tackle this week:

🏡 Have your heat pump, furnace or boiler checked and serviced
🔥 Clean and inspect fireplaces, wood stoves & chimneys
🛢️ Check your oil tank and fuel levels
🪟 Check windows & doors for drafts and worn weatherstripping
🌀 Reverse ceiling fans to help circulate warm air
🚨 Test smoke & carbon monoxide detectors
🧹 Clean heat pump filters, vents & baseboards

Nothing overwhelming—just a few things checked off the list before we really need them!

Another day, another day in my mobile office! 🚗💻🏡

Today I’m lucky enough to have a chauffeur 😉 which means I can tackle my list while we drive!

What will today bring? Signs, drones, clients who have become friends, an overnight getaway, a little more of the same tomorrow… and then home sweet home. ❤️

One of the things I love about this career is getting to explore our beautiful province and some of its hidden-treasure communities along the way. 🌊🌲

The days can be busy and the kilometres can add up, but finding a little beauty, laughter and adventure in between brings some pretty great balance to the daily grind.

Coffee ☕️, laptop 💻, phone 📱 and chauffeur 🚙… let’s see where today takes us!

🍂LABOUR DAY MONDAY… AND FALL IS IN THE AIR!🏡

I’ve been a little lax with my social posts the past couple of days. Work has been busy (which is always a good thing!), but I also decided it was okay to sneak in a little me time in between. ❤️

My own house was in need of some much-needed love, and as I was getting myself organized and prepping for the week ahead, I stepped outside this morning and could definitely feel fall in the air. 🍂

And, of course, my REALTOR® brain immediately went to…fall home prep! 😂🏡

So I thought—why not do it together?

For the next four weeks, I’m going to share a simple YourAgentAndrea Fall Home Checklist, tackling just a few things each week. Because when you look at the entire fall to-do list at once, it can feel a little overwhelming!

# # # 🍁 WEEK 1 — START OUTSIDE

Before the leaves really start falling:

🏠 Take a look at your roof for damaged or missing shingles
🍂 Clean out gutters & make sure downspouts are flowing properly
🚰 Check outdoor taps, hoses & connections
🌳 Trim branches that are getting a little too close to the house
🪵 Check decks, stairs & railings for anything needing attention
🌧️ Make sure water is draining away from your foundation
🧹 Tackle a little yard & exterior clean-up

Nothing too crazy. A few jobs this week, a few next week, and before we know it—we'll be ready for another Nova Scotia fall. 🍁
