Twas Christmas Eve, the stars aglow,
The world was hushed in falling snow.
Children dreamt with hearts so light,
Of Santa’s sleigh through the starlit night.
His reindeer poised, their bells did chime,
Guided by magic, and the march of time.
Through frosty skies, o’er hills and trees,
Santa flew swiftly on the winter breeze.
A sack of treasures, big and bright,
Bringing joy on this wondrous night.
Down each chimney, quiet and quick,
He worked his magic, Saint Nick.
Stockings filled, beneath the tree,
He left surprises for all to see.
A twinkle in his eye, a hearty “Ho, ho!”
Through the night, he'd come and go.
As dawn approached, his work complete,
He soared away on his airborne fleet.
“Happy Christmas to all!” he cried with cheer,
“And to all a good night till I’m back next year!”
