NEWS ALERT - Rate Update!

The Bank of Canada kept interest rates unchanged today, Wednesday, September 2, 2026 keeping it at 2.25%.

This is the seventh consecutive rate hold by the central bank since it last cut borrowing rates in Canada in October 2025. The next Bank of Canada interest rate announcement is scheduled for October 28, 2026.
