Lowest price this home has sold for in years — and my buyers secured it. 🎯

2128 Blackforest Crescent in Oakville was previously purchased in 2022 for $1,800,000. We secured it for $1,352,500.

That’s nearly $450,000 less than what the previous owners paid.

And while that’s an incredible outcome for my buyers… you can’t help but think about what that means on the other side.

This was a power of sale.

A power of sale happens when a homeowner falls behind on mortgage payments and the lender steps in to sell the property to recover what’s owed. It’s a last resort — and it’s becoming more common.

Rates went up. Payments went up. Life got more expensive. For some people, it just became too much.
