Rent in Canada is climbing further still, even as housing prices dip. A new report from Rentals.ca found the average rent in Canada rose 11.8% in October compared to a year prior, reaching $1,976 per month. While rental prices dipped significantly during the pandemic, they are now 7% higher that pre-pandemic levels. Rent in Canada is climbing further still, even as housing prices dip. A new report from Rentals.ca found the average rent in Canada rose 11.8% in October compared to a year prior, reaching $1,976 per month.
