About Us
The Toronto Chapter is the oldest and largest chapter of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC). Offering its members many networking opportunities, the Toronto Chapter hosts educational seminars and chapter functions throughout the year. These include building tours, award dinners and an exciting annual golf tournament, to name a few.
Chapter History
In 1962, the Toronto Chapter became the first founding chapter for the Canadian Institute of Realtors (CIR), later known as REIC, in 1971. The REIC Toronto Chapter has come a long way since those early years in both size and diversity. Many of our Members have become leaders of other real estate associations such as CREA, OREA, TREB, OAACI, CCI, GTAA, IHM, ACMO, BOMA and CIPREC.
The Toronto Chapter has won many national awards including the most prestigious Chapter of the Year Award, Outstanding Chapter of the Year and the Community Service Award for several years in a row.
