Clocked in vs Clocked Out - September Edition

Well.. I am back to a quiet home office with nobody around and we are getting into a nice routine. This month has been a busy one .. I’ve been dealing mostly with buyers and looking at all kinds of houses..

I was able to visit a few recent sellers in their new homes, one of which had lived in her house for 61 YEARS! What an inspiration it was to see how seamlessly she adjusted to her new home. 61 years in a house is pretty incredible I’d say. I also got to enjoy a beautiful view and great visit at another clients new condo… I pulled out the old Remax balloon for one of my open houses, it has been a while. I’ve been all over the city and countryside which has allowed me to see the farm pets too which I love!

What a month !
We are in routine 😅 The month started with going back to school and the next chapter for Kemp, starting junior high and starting to play volleyball..
-Day ✌🏾 of back to school we had a backup in our bsmt so we are headed into a bsmt reno.. just what we needed 🫣
-The boys are done hockey tryouts and onto their new seasons teams .. we are excited to play with old teammates and new ones!
-fundraisers have began 🍿
-we enjoyed being outside as much as we could getting in on some beautiful sunshine ☀️
-I enjoyed some wonderful treats and love from clients 🍷
This month has been a blurr and we are making good use out of every hr in our days ha ha

🤓🏡September 2026 Real Estate Market Stats

September sales were 81, a 15.6 % decrease year-over-year. Inventory rose, up 44.7 % year-over-year. With 149 new listings, the sales-to-new-listings ratio fell slightly to 54 %.

Months of supply rose to 2.68 in September, up 71.5% year over year. Year-over-year average prices have risen by 18.6%.

Well here we are .. Sept 8 and I am finally getting to the recap of August! It has been a busy go.. Work mode consisted of lots of showings for buyers and in all different price ranges! I like this as it always keeps me up to date with the market ☑️
I reconnected with some wonderful clients on a May possession being able to visit the family 💜 There were several possessions that took place and exciting ones.. I’ve already been able to see some transformation on a few places with new floors, paint ect.. how exciting to see these visions come to life. 🎉 I connected with other realtors as we help one another out with values! we got some nice plants that my buyers did not want 💐 and Sammy and I have started doing coffee meetings around town! And we love that ☕️

August was good 👍
We wrapped up summer ball ⚾️, went camping with family which was nice to enjoy some downtime together, stopped into the Schafer family reunion, the boys did lots of fishing with their grandpa Earl 💜, we took a day off to go boating, we checked out the Indian relay races for the first time (we recommend this 😉) We enjoyed making some suppers together in our renovated kitchen 😅 and seemed to fill the days up with fun in the sun as much as we could before we were back to our fall routines and everyone headed back to school.. 📚
