📈 May brought another strong month for real estate across Simcoe County, with sales activity continuing to build momentum heading into the summer market. While home prices remain below last year's levels in many communities, buyer confidence appears to be improving as sales increased.

Simcoe County recorded 790 sales in May, up 9% year-over-year and a significant increase from 660 sales in April. This marks the strongest sales month we've seen so far in 2026 and signals that buyers are becoming more active as market conditions stabilize.

Inventory remains elevated compared to historical norms, but the supply-demand balance is slowly shifting. New listings declined while sales increased, creating more competition for desirable properties.
