Every year we build at least one new set of moving beams. These are 66' long and 15" deep triple I beam.

We just moved this house and set it on a challenging foundation on a hill. Northeast of Ponoka.

We recently moved this barn to the Leduc West Antique Society. When we got close to the site we put the real trucks to work. We hooked dad’s 1957 Canadian Kenworth on the barn for the final stretch. This truck has moved hundreds of buildings in the past. It’s was nice to see Jim McConnell pull another one with this great truck that I learned on as a kid. He had some members join in the moment with the old Ford and old Hayes trucks.

We recently lifted this former restaurant in Ponoka. The lift is to allow the owner to add a full second story and have all 3 levels have a 9’ ceiling.
Our cribs are 18’ high. Thanks to the crew for a great job.

We had a great day and better evening. During the day we played with our new toy! A new 2024 Kenworth with a Hiab folding crane. It took a long time but we finally have it.
During the evening we had a great company Christmas party.

Have any of my building mover friends found an alternative to ivory soap? The new formula is terrible.
I’m not sure I want to go with x/y rollers. So heavy!
