WAKE UP IROQUOIS FALLS!!!!

You may have as little as 2 minutes to safely escape a fire. That time does not get extended just because you are asleep. In alignment with this year’s theme for fire prevention week "Smoke Alarms: Make Them Work For You", we will be conducting home fire safety inspections. We will be looking to ensure you have working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Our Fire Prevention Officer will be visiting homes through the week of October 6 – October 12, 2024. Additionally, our firefighters will be participating in the program on select days/evenings. Inspections are voluntary and are not being used for enforcement purposes. We want to increase awareness and safety within our community. If you wish to decline the inspection you may do so. We will not be able to reach every residence so if we haven’t knocked on your door and you would like an inspection, please message us or call us at 705-258-3690.
