New report suggests HST rebate continues to boost single-family new home sales across GTA
July brought a significant surge in new single-family home sales across the GTA, with transactions tripling to 781 units. The HST rebate continues to play a key role in encouraging buyers to step into the market. Interestingly, single-family home prices saw an 8.5% decrease, now averaging $1.36M, while condo prices edged up 2.5% to $1.05M, though condo sales remain on the lower side. Current inventory stands at 18,546 units.
