🚶 Walkability — Old Oakville lets you walk to the lake, boutiques & restaurants. Kerr Village is Oakville’s most up-and-coming walkable pocket. Bronte Village is the hidden gem most buyers overlook with its charming harbour strip. Uptown Core covers all your everyday errands on foot.

🏛️ Heritage Homes — Old Oakville’s character homes are stunning but heritage designation means the Town controls your exterior changes — windows, paint colours, materials all need approval. Costs run significantly higher than standard renovations and insurance & financing can get complicated fast.

💰 Entry-Level Pockets — Oakville has a $2M reputation but first time buyers can still break in. Kerr Village & Uptown Core offer condos and stacked towns at more accessible price points.
