Building more homes starts with moments like this! Proud to mark the groundbreaking of 80-90 Fieldway Road alongside Minister Rob Flack and our valued partners as construction officially begins on 917 purpose-built rental units in Etobicoke.

75 years. One legacy.

Built on doing things differently — and building for what’s next.

EllisDon’s 75th anniversary is a moment to recognize the employees, past and present, that have made the company what it is today.

Happy Birthday ! 🥳🎂

EllisDon was established on April 1, 1951 by founders Don Smith and David Ellis Smith. For 74 years, EllisDon has been building trust, cementing its legacy, and raising the roof (literally).

From a small home renovation project in 1951 to becoming a global leader in construction and infrastructure, EllisDon has come a long way!

Here’s to the incredible teams, visionary leadership, and groundbreaking projects that have shaped the industry.

EllisDon’s continuous pursuit of excellence, pushing boundaries, transforming skylines, and building a better future has led to the creation of EllisDon Developments - we’re just getting started!

EllisDon Developments is a proud sponsor of Coldest Night of the Year - on February 22, thousands of Canadians across the country will walk in the cold and fundraise to support and serve people and families experiencing hurt, hunger and homelessness in our community.

We are walking and raising funds for Haven on the Queensway - a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to humanitarian relief and supporting individuals and families in the Etobicoke and Greater Toronto Area communities.

The city has been buzzing with Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour at the Rogers Centre (originally and more popularly known as SkyDome… we still call it that at least! Fine, we’ll just Shake It Off!)

Did you know the SkyDome was built by EllisDon? The home of the Toronto Blue Jays and venue of the biggest concerts over the years is just one of the many iconic buildings built by EllisDon over the past 70+ years. 🏙️
