It’s easy to get caught up in the chatter about mortgage rates and feel like that’s the most challenging part of getting a mortgage.

But the actually overwhelming part is the anxiety as you submit your docs and hope beyond hope that everything goes well.

That emotional whiplash is real, and it catches a lot of buyers off guard.

Selling in 2026 looks... different. But that doesn’t mean that things are actually more challenging or that the market is out to get you.

It just doesn’t reward the old playbook anymore. 📑

In 2026, buyers are more informed, more cautious, and quicker to walk when a deal isn’t quite right.

But the good news is that sellers who are playing the new game are doing very well.
