For three years running, Ontario has not enforced its rules requiring tradespeople such as electricians, auto mechanics and plumbers to be certified, CBC News has learned.

Hi everyone,
I am a home owner who bought a house in Mississauga, more specifically Lorn park from an Engineer by the name of Giancarlo Di Giambattista. A series of events happened where I got lucky and my amazing electrician has discovered that this engineer who renovated the house and sold it to us did a lot of electrical work on his own that was not per code and endangered our lives. He is now being investigated and fined by Electrical Safety Authority.
He has admitted to me verbally and via text message that he has done this type of work in the past and is still doing it. I am hoping that this platform will allow me to connect with other families who purchased home from him as they are in great danger of electrical hazards.
