This question is being asked very often these days.

It depends on your personal situation and pain tolerance. For some it doesn’t make sense to keep holding on, especially if the unit was purchased as an investment and rental income doesn't cover the mortgage.

We are still in the contraction (loss) phase of the market cycle, and further downward pressure on prices is likely before the market stabilizes and enters a recovery phase. In this environment waiting longer can increase your overall financial loss.
