This year I am proud to be a
representative for the Mississauga Real Estate Board
at the 37th Annual Political Action Conference hosted
by CREA (Canadian Real Estate association).
Affordable housing, solutions to removing barriers to supply and financial challenges were among the top issues discussed. Collectively, there were hundreds of industry leaders and realtors from all over Canada bringing to parliament the most pressing issues facing homeowners and buyers alike. We met with our MPs to ensure the most pressing issues remain top of mind
and push for action. It was an informative and impactful
past 4 days in our nations capital. I am looking forward to continuing this work right here at home!

I was able to secure this stunning ravine lot in a bidding war (a very common scenario right now) now the less common part is that the price I was able to negotiate is in line with prices back in July 2021! She is very happy she didn’t hold out and trusted my advice because a similar house on this street sold for 30k just a couple weeks later. This would have put her over her budget and knocked her out of acquiring a detached home like she desired. This was not the first property we offered on, but she knew I would not push her into a purchase that didn’t make sense for her needs and her budget. I kept searching for the best fit until we found it. I built a strong relationship with the listing agent and negotiated the best deal for my client. I absolutely love it when my clients feel supported and are completely happy.
