Orlando Corporation is pledging $25 million to match community donations to Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Medicine. That means every gift right now goes twice as far in supporting the next generation of physicians.
The announcement comes as the School of Medicine welcomed its first MD students this week—future doctors who will help address health care shortages in Ontario’s most underserved communities.

We are thrilled to announce a $75 million investment to help build the future home of The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital at Trillium Health Partners. This is the largest corporate
donation Trillium Health Partners has ever received and the largest to a hospital in Canada.

We are excited to announce the naming of the Orlando Corporation Ambulatory Surgical & Procedures Centre at the Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital.

Orlando Corporation’s gift instantly doubled the donations of more than 5,000 donors – turning $5 million into $10 million. The Orlando Corporation Ambulatory Surgical & Procedures Centre will offer 16 surgical suites with state-of-the-art capabilities to provide the ultimate in health care.

It’s a honour to ignite the spirit of giving and better the healthcare of Canada! Thank you William Osler Health System Foundation for the video that truly depicts the direct impact donations have to our community.

Our 15 Million Matching Challenge was announced 5 years ago. This gift ultimately inspired the community to match our donation totalling $30 million. Together with our community, these donations contributed to constructing Etobicoke General’s new Emergency Room and the Endovascular Therapeutic Suite at the Brampton Civic Hospital.

Recently our President, Phil King announced Orlando Corporation will be making an additional gift of $1.5 million to finish the campaign to build the new patient tower at Etobicoke General.
