🚨News for Ontario landlords and tenants.
Here’s what’s changing:

⏰ N4 notice period: 14 days → 7 days
📋 N12 compensation will be waived with 120+ days’ notice
⚠️ 3 late payments in 6 months will count as persistent late payment
🛠️ N13 renovictions will require written updates
💰 Some tenants may need to pay 50% of arrears before certain hearings

Why this matters:
Tenants will have half the time to catch up on unpaid rent before the eviction process, while landlords will be able to move through the process faster but have to follow new rules accordingly.
