Does Canada’s tanker ban make any sense… when the U.S. sends tankers down the same coastline more than 200 times a year?

Here’s what the government never tells you…
Just ONE extra tanker of Canadian oil exported to Asia equals:
• 83 million dollars in export value
• 71 million dollars added to Canada’s GDP
• 240 jobs supported

And in health-care terms…
That’s the equivalent of funding 700 nurses or 20 MRI machines.

Now imagine actual pipeline scale…
1 million barrels per day to Asia would generate:
• 30 billion dollars per year in export revenue
• 26 billion in GDP
• Nearly 90 thousand Canadian jobs

That’s wealth on the scale of an entire provincial health-care system… every single year.

Meanwhile, the U.S. has no problem sailing tankers right along our coastline.
Only Canada bans its own energy from reaching world markets.
And every year of delay costs Canadians jobs, opportunity… and the services we depend on.

Common sense isn’t partisan.
It’s just time we stopped kneecapping ourselves.
