Hello Everyone, We wanted to publicly announce our support for Darko Simunac as the next board member at 3939 Duke of York Blvd.
The reason Darko is a recommended Board Member is he was a candidate at the last AGM but did not collect sufficient proxies. Our goal is to establish an unbiased board, unlike the current state. Darko is the best man for the job. His wealth of knowledge and experience will make this diverse and vibrant condominium community a gem in the heart of this great city.

My name is Darko Simunac and I would be honoured to be elected as a member of the Board of Directors at Peel Standard Condominium Corporation No. 731. I consider myself to be an out-going results-oriented individual, with organized planning, ex*****on, monitoring, and resource-allocating skills. I excel at communicating with suppliers, senior management and support groups, to provide accurate reporting and information regarding ongoing implementations and new projects with solid experience in coordinating and negotiating with a variety of stakeholders.
My previous work related experience within the construction and disaster restoration industry will allow me to propel within this position. The disaster restoration industry pertains to insurance and non insurance property losses ranging from residential, commercial and industrial sectors. Within this industry partnerships are formed and objectives are adhered to with insurance adjusters, property management, business and home owners. As a Project Manager I am responsible for managing projects from inception to completion within the mitigation and construction stages. I am accountable for assessing property losses, providing budgets and forecasts in order to ensure that projects are able to reach specific goals. Furthermore, proactive measures such as attention to detail and quality control are implemented in order to ensure overall success upon completion of projects. Continuous relationships amongst trades and sub contractors need to be maintained in order to allow projects to remain successful.
When combined with a university degree, post graduate certificate and masters degree in business administration along with several certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration and my above mentioned work experience I believe that I would be a suitable candidate as a board of director at Peel Standard Condominium Corporation No. 731.
I hope that I can assist in ensuring that objectives are met and expectations are exceeded with the residents at Peel Standard Condominium Corporation No. 731. Furthermore, by continuing to satisfy our residents will only promote a better environment for years to come!
