Sometimes a property has more potential than its owner has time to unlock.

One of my clients had an unused parcel of land beside their property and an idea: turn it into a private pump track that their family and friends could enjoy.

From there, we worked together on the concept and layout, and I took care of bringing the project to life.

The coastal location presented its own challenge, with a predominantly sandy base that needed additional structure. The site was stripped and prepared, a compacted crusher-rock foundation was created, and clay-based material was brought in and shaped into a complete multi-directional riding track.

What I love about projects like this is that a home and property don’t have to remain static. This track is already being enjoyed by the family and their friends, and we’re now working together on the next evolution of it as their riding preferences develop.

Sometimes taking care of a home means finding the right solution for something that isn’t quite off the shelf.

This entrance originally had a screen door years ago, and the homeowner wanted to bring that function back without compromising the look of the home.

I sourced a solid pine screen door, custom cut it to fit the existing opening, finished and painted it, and completed the installation and adjustments. I also reused the original hardware locations for a cleaner finished result.

It’s a great example of what whole home concierge service can look like. Identifying what’s needed, working through the details, and seeing the job through to a finished result the homeowner can simply enjoy.

Your cottage should feel like an escape.

Not a to-do list.

But that first weekend of the season? It's never actually a weekend. It's turning the water back on, checking what didn't survive the winter, hauling stuff out of storage, cleaning what sat closed for six months.

By the time it's done, Sunday's gone.

I handle the opening so that when you pull into the driveway, it's already done. Water's on. Beds are made. Fridge is stocked the way you like it. Propane's full. Hot tub's ready.

You just show up and enjoy it.

That's the whole point.
