Moving homes can be a headache that eats up weeks, if not months of your time. It helps to have a plan in mind, prior to beginning your move.

We've had a lot of experience with moving houses, in both, our personal and professional lives.

Here are 3 useful tips to make your next move smooth and stress-free:

1. Start by gathering all of your necessary materials (boxes of many sizes, small plastic bags for disassembling furniture, stretch wrap to protect large items, big moving bags to protect your mattresses, reusable foam corner protectors, a dolly and anything else you may require).

2. Colour markers for labelling boxes are very helpful. (Tip: colour-coding boxes by room will make unpacking much easier).

3. Protect your floors when moving large furniture by putting down old sheets or moving blankets.

Planning ahead and having the right packing and moving materials will help you have a great experience as you move onto a new adventure.

Centennial Park lies in the heart of Moncton and has a new swimming pool and beach area, perfect for warm weekends with friends and family. In the winter, the park is popular for ice-skating, snowshoeing, tobogganing and skiing.

Moncton offers over 70 km of trails, perfect for outdoor activity enthusiasts. It's also home to CF Champlain, which is Atlantic Canada’s biggest shopping mall, attracting some 10 million visitors annually.

The city is also home to Magnetic Hill--a unique phenomenon where cars seemingly roll uphill when in neutral.
