From Moncton Creates Cohort 2, we are proud to present Raksha Sharma and her project, The Weight of Silence: Financial Wellness—an initiative bringing an important conversation around financial awareness, confidence, and well-being into the community.

This is Moncton Creates in action: giving people the space to explore ideas, develop their voices, create meaningful projects, and transform what they learn into something that can impact others.

Raksha’s work reminds us that creativity is not only about what we make, it is also about the conversations we start, the knowledge we share, and the change we inspire.

The Helping Hand Project Community BBQ & Fun Fair 2026 was a huge SUCCESS!

What a day of kindness, connection, generosity, laughter and community spirit.

From the volunteers who showed up early, to our incredible community partners, donors, organizations, businesses, leaders, performers, families and everyone who came through the gates, thank you.

You helped create a space where people could connect, receive support, share resources, have fun and simply feel welcomed.

This was never about “us helping them.”
It was about all of us showing up for one another.
