The cottage is completely rented in June. :) ♥️ Proud of that it's been awhile since it's been completely rented this month. :) Also completely rented July, August and September. Earliest availability is October 4th. :) Turning out to be a banner year. Summer clients can also look forward to a new King sized bed. :) ♥️ And Likely an Wi-Fi upgrade. :) ♥️ I know I must seem like a broken record but I love this business, love the friends I've made from the cottage, love meeting the people. I generally have the bestest clients. Overall this has to be one of the best purchases, I have ever made. :)

So the cottage's busy season is finally ending. But it's more like a gap. It has been fully booked this year from June 14th to Yesterday.. :) That is a fantastic run and a banner year. :) ♥️♥️ Thank you to everyone who has booked. Also thank you to my outstanding cleaning ladies, my groundskeeper and my handimen. I really couldn't ask for better workers and rest easier that they care for the cottage when I'm working or out in BC..
Having said all that, the cottage is available in this Gap, from Tonight Sept 15th to the morning of Sept 19th.. (4 Nights - $640 plus $150 cleaning fee) and then nothing available to the 5th of October. :)
Summer 2026, so far my availability is quite limited with July, August and September fully booked. June is almost completely wide open.

Updated Openings!! Here is the booking schedule for the month of May, lots of open dates. May is historically my third less busy month after April and November. And I understand why. But it can also be a wonderful vacation. The cottage is extremely cozy this time of year. There are less bugs than other spring months, fishing is opening May two four, and the early season fishing can be great. No more snow (thank God) usually by the end of the month. The sun can sometimes be wonderfully warm..
What do you do in May at the lake?

I've just had a cancellation in June, from the 16th to the 20th. Four Nights is $160 x 4 = $640. Plus the cleaning fee of $150 equals $790 in total. This is a peak season cancellation. The rest of the summer is basically booked solid, to the second week of September.
This is a rough one for me. The clients that were supposed to stay are repeat customers and I really enjoyed meeting them all and was pretty happy to see that they were rebooking.. Specially when a member of their family is very sick and they as a group decided to return to the cottage, they just think she will be too weak by then. :( :(
Mid/Late June is some of the nicest time to be spending time at the cottage. The fishing is really good earlier on in the season, it's not too hot, the black flies are just disappearing and the mosquitoes are not yet out in full force and the sun is so warm. :)

**Due to the upcoming weather forecast, all Kap Sno-Rovers trails will be closed from Thursday evening to Sunday night** I've just had a short notice cancellation at the Cottage for the 14th to the 19th. 6 nights, $960 + $150 Cleaning Fee. There is plenty of snow for snowmobiling. The last clients told me currently that the conditions are actually very good.. The cottage with the wood stove running is super cozy, even with the lingering cold this area has been experiencing. The lake is still frozen, ideal for ice fishing. Welcome March, in like a Beautiful Lion this morning. Cold, Snowy and Sunny. We stayed at the cottage last night to prep for the new client arriving this afternoon. With the fireplace set to 75 and the wood stove roaring, it was very cozy with windchill temperatures close to 40 below outside..
The latest reports on the trails from the last couple of recent clients is that they are wonderful. :) Lots of snow, fast and very well groomed.
Here is the availability in March for the cottage, very simple this time. From the night of Wednesday March 19th to the afternoon of Monday, March 31st. I cannot see any reason that we wouldn't have great snowmobiling conditions right to April this year. :) We have had some wonderful snow the last couple of days. :) 💕 So it's probably the best skidooing of the season in Kap right now..
