I watched this series but somehow felt like it wasn't any of my business. Bryant Gumbel made an interesting point when he asked if a white man, in the same position, would have received the same treatment.

John Albert Buchanan was found guilty of the lesser offence rather than murder after experiencing “one torment too many” from his victim.
