I’ve never been a fan of the idea that we’re supposed to completely separate our “work selves” from our “real selves.”
To me, life doesn’t work in separate compartments. The things we care about outside of work, like our hobbies, our families, and the things that recharge us, always shape how we treat people in our careers.
When I started in real estate, I knew I didn’t want to be a “salesperson.” I’ve never liked that word. I’ve always tried to avoid some of the stereotypes such as the pushing, the rushing, or the feeling that it’s just a transaction.
For me, it’s always been about building actual relationships. It’s about giving people the facts they need and letting them make an informed decision on their own time. There is no pressure and no rush.
But it goes beyond that. I don’t just hand over the keys and disappear. It’s just the way I do business to stay connected with people long after they’ve bought or sold a home. It’s been incredible getting to know so many amazing people this way, and I want to be someone you can genuinely count on for the long haul.
Because my work is built on those connections, I wanted my branding to reflect who I actually am. My first logo served me well, but I needed it quickly and didn’t have the luxury of time back then. It was just a generic logo that I had no personal connection with.
This time, I wanted a logo that spoke to my heart.
If you know me, you know that music and vinyl records are a huge passion of mine. It’s how I unwind and a big part of what makes me… wel… me. So, for the new look for Chris Carter Real Estate, we combined those two worlds. You’ll see the house built right into the groove of a record.
It connects the work I love with the music I love. It feels like me, and I think the final design is awesome.
The cool thing about design is that everyone interprets it a little differently.
I’m really proud to share this new branding with you today, and I’d love to hear your take.
When you look at the new logo, what do you see?
