I recently found out I was the #3 INDIVIDUAL AGENT for our office, , in 2024—and wow, I’m shocked!! 🥰👏🏼
They say, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” While I agree with so much of that saying, not all of it rings true when you choose to be a Real Estate Agent.
If you know me closely, you’ll know that I work in some way, shape, or form almost every day. I’ve missed or been late to dinners and birthdays. I’ve had to step out of nearly every family occasion to take a call or respond to a message. I’ve searched for Wi-Fi pit stops on road trips, chargers at every airport, and “just five more minutes” to send an email, check if a home is still available, book a showing, or make one quick call. The list is never-ending—just ask my partner (who is also an agent)! Our household requires patience, understanding, and constant support for each other’s careers.
With all that said, I wouldn’t change a thing. The sacrifices I make to support my clients through some of the biggest, most emotional decisions of their lives are an honour and a privilege I don’t take for granted.
Being part of life’s biggest moments—like welcoming a new baby, landing a promotion, moving cities, or buying a first home—brings me so much joy and fulfillment. And in the harder seasons—through loss, divorce, or big life changes—helping make things just a little less stressful feels deeply meaningful. This work doesn’t feel like work; it feels like purpose.❣️
Thank you to my friends, family, and partner for supporting me—even in the moments when you want to rip the phone out of my hand and throw it into the ocean. 😂
