📢 Interest Rate News!

🏦 Citing continued easing of inflation, the Feds have announced a third consecutive cut to the key lending rate which now sits at 4.25%.

👨🏻‍💼 Tiff Macklem, Bank of Canada Governor, suggests that the pace of these cuts, while gradual, are appropriately so: "If we need to take a bigger step, we're prepared to take a bigger step...but at this point, 25 basis points looked appropriate."
