Is this Nanaimo's Best Summer Day Trip?

One of my favorite ways to spend a hot summer day on Vancouver Island? Just… do nothing. 😎🌊

I recently took my family tubing at Lake Cowichan, about an hour from Nanaimo, and honestly, it was exactly the kind of summer day I needed.

You grab a tube, float down the river for 2.5–3 hours, soak up the sun, enjoy the scenery, and let the current do the work. 😂

My little daughter even spent part of the trip paddling ahead of me, she had an absolute blast!
