After nearly 10 years in real estate, I’m stepping into a new chapter. I'd like to thank Remax Professionals formerly Remax of Nanaimo for giving me nearly a decade of development in this industry and an opportunity to build my career from the ground up.
I was first licensed in October of 2016. Since then, this career has taught me more than I could have imagined about homes, negotiations, markets, people, stress, trust, family, timing, and the weight of helping someone through one of the biggest decisions of their life.
It has been a busy decade. A good decade. A challenging decade. A decade that has shaped me.
And lately, I’ve felt very clearly that it is time to pause, recalibrate, organize myself, and move into the next phase of my career with more intention.
With that, I’m announcing that I am moving my licence to REAL Broker.
I want to say clearly that I am grateful for my time with RE/MAX Professionals. I value the relationships, the lessons, and the people who were part of that chapter. I wish everyone there nothing but the best.
For me, this move is not about running from something. Even with the latest news of Real Broker acquiring Remax, this was not why I decided to move over.
It is about moving toward something.
A more modern platform.
A more intentional business model.
A clearer personal brand.
A better structure for the way I want to serve clients in the years ahead.
The real estate industry is changing quickly. The expectations clients have of us are changing. Marketing is changing. Technology is changing. Communication is changing. And I believe the next decade of this business will belong to the people who are willing to evolve while staying grounded in service, trust, and relationships.
That is the balance I am working toward.
I am taking this moment as a reset.
A chance to refine how I work.
A chance to improve the systems around my clients.
A chance to build a stronger brand around Vancouver Island real estate.
A chance to better serve the people who trust me with their homes, their moves, and their next chapters.
My commitment remains the same: to help people make smart, confident real estate decisions in Nanaimo and across Vancouver Island.
But the next version of that commitment will be more focused, more organized, and more intentional.
To everyone who has supported me since 2016 - clients, friends, colleagues, family, and community, I want to offer a sincere and deep thank you.
I’m grateful for what brought me here.
And I’m ready for what comes next.
